Abstract
The Time Team evaluation, comprising eight trenches, found no conclusive evidence of any medieval structure (or associated activity) thought to have occupied the Site prior to the current Manor House, although one fragment of medieval roof tile was recovered in a later deposit. Activity in the vicinity of the house was predominantly post-medieval and modern, associated with the use of the Manor as a farm and later as a private house. Examples include a cobbled yard and path, made-ground and animal burials.
