Abstract

The Site walkover revealed that the original topsoil and subsoil has been removed from the Site and appears to have been bulldozed to the edges to form screening bunds. The upper surface of the underlying chalk, exposed in places, has been covered with a layer of recycled hardcore consisting of gravel and brick fragments. There is a low to zero potential for archaeological material to remain within the Site.
